To create the Drive-In atmosphere, park the cars halfway into the garage facing the screen. If you can’t use a garage….. park in the driveway & put up a screen in front of garage doors.
In the goodie bags to give to guests to take home…. order personalized Microwave popcorn …. in a 50’s theme & a photo of your birthday girl!
DECORATIONS: purchased posters and streamers and such in 50’s style to jazz up the garage and also a “Grease” movie poster for all friends to sign. Ware skinny jeans rolled up like floods, a white polo, a pink ladies jacket and even curled your hair in tight ringlets and secured the ponytail with a pink ribbon. ACTIVITIES: When guests arrived.. hangout in backyard for dinner. Hotdogs, burgers, fries, nachos… All the “drivein fare”. Then all pile into the garage and split up into the cars. Pop in the Grease DVD and have tons of fun.
Snacks: Plenty of sodas or chocolate shakes. At the dollar store, Target or Party store… you can get the Red & white Popcorn containers. So pop PLENTY of Greasy…buttery Popcorn!
